It is definitely made well and is a solid piece of metal. The rods coming from the ceiling down are metal and look nicer than rope or chain in my opinion. They also give you various heights to drop the fixture.
Install was a breeze and everything needed except a screw driver was included. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the previous fixture and install this one. Have a second person or something tall you can rest the light on when wiring to the ceiling as you don't have much extra wire length to have it on a table or floor and reach.
