The Torchlet Sconces are an excellent solution for occasional lighting in hallways without easily accessible outlets or the need for wiring installation.
Each sconce weighs a couple of pounds and hang easily on the included mounts. There’s a horizontal slot on the back that simply rests on a wide steel hook you screw (included) to the wall. The result isn’t 100% level no matter how much you attend to it, but no one other than the installer will likely notice.
The light is consistent and reliable. I’ve used one multiple nights without charging it yet. Topping up is via USB-C so any charger you already have will probably work.
The removability is key to the success of this sconce. You don’t have to figure out how to charge it in place and in the event of power outage you can easily move it around your home.
The design is also pretty unique, aside from the mobility. The leds are lined up along two rotatable arms, allowing for really interesting shapes and lighting effects. I appreciate that the light shines on the wall.
The remote works well and controls both.
Timers aren’t very customizable but the 1 to 8 hour increments are enough.
These are great rechargeable wall scones, and I absolutely love the look of them, very aesthetically pleasing and can really go with any decor options. You get two wall scones, both being rechargeable and have the option to change between three different light colors - Neutral, Cool and Warm and also comes with a little remote control to adjust them as well as brightness etc.
What's different about these wall scones compared to others is the arms on these ones are adjustable so you can really adjust them however you want - horizonal, vertical, L-shaped etc. so they are not fixed in place. In addition to the remote there is a small button on the side that can operate the brightness and color options of the light as well - another thing I like is they are minimal - they aren't overly big or in your face and are very modern looking.
Quality is great also - everything but the light part is metal and very good quality, Installation is very simple as well - you can either stick them to the wall or you can screw them into the wall - however you prefer so doesn't take anytime at all to install these lights.
